My first experience of the Internet use is connected with sports. As I am interested in football and my favourite team is Arsenal, I would have like to learn something more about this club. I live in Russia, but Arsenal Football Club is situated in London. Then by means of the Internet I found the necessary information for my reports in the senior classes. Certainly I used e-mail. Basically my activity on the Internet was limited to these actions.
Last year owing to occurrence of the high-speed Internet and growth of my needs from a global network, the Internet became a great part of my life. Every day I check mail, read news, receive my homework, communicate with my friends, search for the necessary information for study. Fortunately, I have an opportunity to load many new films and music that is for me very conveniently. One of my favourite online-encyclopedias is Wikipedia. I can find the
detailed information on event, which is interesting for me. But it is necessary to use Wiki in English as in the English version I can find in articles much more information. It is very useful for me, because I study also English language. Earlier I don't know anything about Internet-blogs, so it is my first operational experience. It is difficult to me to say, that blogs are useful in studying English language. I have not accustomed yet to work with blogs.
I am sure that our lessons at university are better and more fascinating. I really progress in studying English language owing to these lessons.
Let me summarise briefly what I've said. The Internet is necessary for us every day. The some people earn money in the Internet, others simply communicate with new virtual friends. Although in a usual real life it is more pleasantly for me simply to work with friends in the park and to talk about our life, instead of to sit 4 hours near the monitor receiving messages.
